Job Position: Sales & Marketing Assistant

Job Location: Lagos

Job Responsibilities

  1. Contribute to the development of the company sales and marketing administration activities.
  2. carry out direct sales & marketing activities to agreed budgets, sales volumes, values, product mix and timescales.
  3. Ensure that the sales enquiry process is conducted in a timely manner that meets internal procedures (EC,…) and customer satisfaction.
  4. Actively support in the preparation of promotions, exhibition events, road shows, conferences
  5. Support incoming enquiries, co-ordinate client meetings with BUs and support contract preparation for BUs
  6. Provide administrative support to Business Units activities.
  7. Maintain membership to professional organizations like Chambers of Commerce or Commodities Association
  8. Maintain, enhance and keep up to date all aspects of the web site. Publish regular news
  9. Support and assist in the preparation of tenders.
  10. Maintain data integrity and support the Business Units on the Customer Relationship Management (CRM) system.
  11. Continually review and improve company sales literature, company sales presentations and advertising material.
  12. Update and maintain SalesForce
  13. Ensure training on SalesForce for BUs
  14. Create and maintain all Sales Reports on a monthly basis or as per request and share with Management and BU Managers as well as BDs
  15. Completion of vendor applications
  16. Maintain BV details up to date in all client’s vendor web portal
  17. Manage BU’s Business Developers’ Agenda (take appointments)
  18. Create and manage Mass Mailing campaign.
  19. Organise regular webinars
  20. Prepare a weekly market intelligence report (Carry out market research, competitor and customer surveys.)
  21. Monitor and report on activities and provide relevant information to management
  22. Any other tasks given by  the hierarchy

  1. Sales Force connections
  2. Leads generated.

  4. Number of appointments taken
  5. Sales budget

Job Requirements

  • A completed high school education.
  • 1-3  year Experience in sales and marketing or business support
  • Computer literacy in MO365 & PowerBI
  • Knowledge of CRM such as SalesForce
  • Use of Pardot
  • Market Research and Surveys.
  • Above average telephone skills, including making introductions and generating leads.
  • Experience in preparing quotations and tenders.
  • Good presentation skills
