Job Position: Sales Officer

Job Description

  1. Due to ongoing expansion and the need to sustain the highest quality services to existing and potential customers, we seek applications from exceptional candidates to fill this challenging position.

Role Overview

  1. Analyzing how the brand is positioned in the market and crystallizing targeted consumers insights
  2. Taking brand ownership and providing the vision, mission, goals, and strategies drive it
  3. Translating brand strategies into brand plans, brand positioning, and go-to-market strategies

Job Responsibilities

  1. Lead creative development and create motivating stimulus to get the targeted population to “take action”
  2. Monitor market trends, research consumer markets, and competitors’ activities to identify opportunities and key issues
  3. Establish performance specifications, cost and price parameters, market applications and sales estimates
  4. Oversee marketing and advertising activities to ensure consistency with product line strategy
  5. Measure and report performance of all marketing campaigns, and assess against goals (ROI and KPIs)
  6. Development of effective product positioning in the market
  7. Monitor product distribution and consumer reactions
  8. Brainstorm new and innovative growth strategies
  9. Align the company around the brand’s direction, choices, and tactics
  10. Anticipate bottlenecks
  11. Attending meetings with clients and different marketing departments
  12. Coach the team and get the best from everyone.

Job Requirements

  1. Candidates should possess minimum of a First Degree (Second Class Upper Division) in Marketing, Mass Communication or any related field with 8+ years on a similar role
  2. Possession of Master’s degree and membership of a professional brand and marketing body will be an added advantage
  3. Previous experience in a marketing or advertisement agency firm will also be an added advantage.

Requirements:

  1. Proven working experience minimum of 3 years
  2. Proven ability to develop brand and marketing strategies and effectively communicate recommendations to executive management
  3. In-depth understanding of the company’s current products and future concepts
  4. Experience in identifying target audiences and devising campaigns that engage, inform, and motivate them
  5. Up-to-date with latest trends and marketing best practices
  6. Familiarity with the latest trends, technologies, and methodologies in graphic design, web design, production, etc.
  7. Strong research, analytical skills, and data-driven thinking
  8. Excellent understanding of the full marketing mix
  9. Highly creative with ability to think out of box
  10. Advanced communication and interpersonal skills
  11. Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  12. Comfort with CRM software
  13. Ability to think creatively and innovatively
  14. Analytical skills to forecast and identify trends and challenges.
