Job Position: Sales Representative

Job Location: Amuwo Odofin, Lagos

Job Description

  1. Can you achieve marketing and sales operational objectives by contributing marketing and sales information to strategic plans and reviews?
  2. This role is for a competitive field sales representative to develop sales strategies and attract new clients.
  3. The successful salesperson will source new sales opportunities and close sales to achieve quotas.
  4. The successful candidate will play a key role in increasing income and revenue by managing and negotiating with clients, generating leads, qualifying prospects, and managing sales of products and services.
  5. As an outside sales representative, they will also research sales competition.

Job Responsibilities

  1. Get the sale” using various customer sales methods such as door-to-door, cold calling, presentations, networking, referrals, etc
  2. Forecast sales, develop “out of the box” sales strategies/models and evaluate their effectiveness
  3. Evaluate customer’s skills, needs and build productive long-lasting relationships
  4. Meet personal and team sales targets
  5. Research accounts, generate and follow through sales leads
  6. Attend meetings, sales events, trade shows and trainings to keep abreast of the latest developments and market products
  7. Report and provide feedback to management using financial data
  8. Maintain and expand client database within your assigned territory
  9. Develop existing and new business relationships
  10. Support the execution of pre-defined targeted product marketing campaigns
  11. Continually sourcing new Sales opportunities
  12. Develop an understanding of product line and value chain
  13. Responsible for calling and cross-selling to new and existing customers.
  14. Prospecting for new business and generating new leads
  15. Responsible for prompt follow-up on pre-qualified leads provided by the corporate office
  16. Provide customer feedback on products and marketplace conditions
  17. Close new deals at a high rate
  18. Travel throughout the territory and visit customers on a recurring basis
  19. Manage multiple customers simultaneously
  20. Maintain records of all sales leads and/or customer accounts
  21. Represent the brand during all customer and prospect interactions
  22. Educate customers on how products or services can benefit them financially and professionally
  23. Monitor the company’s industry competitors, new products, and market conditions.
  24. Log all sales and customer details into the company sales management software
  25. Perform any other duties as assigned by Management

Job Requirements

  1. Minimum of OND qualification
  2. Proven sales experience
  3. Familiarity with different sales techniques
  4. Computer use competency
  5. Strong communication, negotiation and interpersonal skills
  6. Self motivated and driven
  7. Must live in close proximity to Amuwo Odofin.

Salary
N40,000 – N60,000 monthly.
