Job Position: Sales Representative
Location: Lagos

Job Responsibilities

  1. Develop and implement sales and marketing strategy and plan to ensure profit maximisation and excellent customer service. Ensure the achievement of sales targets.
  2. Ensure product availability and visibility in trade through enforcement of healthy stock levels in distributors’ warehouses and retailers’ stores, HORECA & Key Account, according to company standards.
  3. Ensure that the pricing structure reflects market reality when compared with competitors and drive new product development.
  4. Identify, nurture and harness new business opportunities to grow market shares through monitoring trends and developments in the marketplace and ensuring customer satisfaction.
  5. Prepare monthly, quarterly and annual sales reports according to the sales director and the company’s set standard.
  6. Provide supervision through field visits, observations and measurement of results to include performance appraisals and salary reviews.
  7. Develop competencies and processes required to create an effective and efficient sales force.
  8. Create and implement effective direct and indirect sales strategies to develop a neighbourhood sales strategy towards the achievement of sales goals.
  9. Establish effective relationships and collaborations with other departments (production, Finance & Logistics) to address key business issues and opportunities. Communicate the company’s Food safety policy, requirements to customers and end users. Ensure outlets conform with food safety requirements, product storage, vehicle/logistics conditions and conduct/analyse customer feedback survey annually. Carry out product recall/withdrawal when necessary.

Job Requirements

  1. First degree in a relevant field.
  2. At least 2 years of experience in the FMCG sector, with at least 1 year must be in Table Water sales.
  3. Must be numerate and familiar with data analysis and reporting. Must be a person of a high level of integrity and enthusiasm
