Job Description

  1. As a Field Sales Representative, you will be responsible for generating new business leads, building relationships with existing customers, and driving sales growth in a designated territory.

Job Responsibilities:

  1. Prospecting and Lead Generation: Identify and pursue new business opportunities through cold calling, networking, and other prospecting techniques.
  2. Customer Relationship Building: Develop and maintain strong relationships with existing customers to ensure customer satisfaction and loyalty.
  3. Sales Calls and Presentations: Conduct sales calls and presentations to customers and prospects to demonstrate products and services.
  4. Territory Management: Manage and prioritize sales activities within a designated territory to achieve sales targets.
  5. Sales Forecasting and Reporting: Provide accurate sales forecasts and reports to management, including sales pipeline updates and customer feedback.
  6. Product Knowledge: Develop and maintain in-depth knowledge of products and services to effectively communicate value to customers.
  7. Competitor Analysis: Stay informed about competitor activity, market trends, and industry developments to maintain a competitive edge.
  8. Sales Negotiation and Closing: Negotiate and close sales deals to meet or exceed sales targets.

Job Qualifications and Skills 

  1. Sales experience: 2+ years of sales experience, preferably in a field sales role.
  2. Communication skills: Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  3. Interpersonal skills: Strong interpersonal skills to build relationships with customers, colleagues, and management.
  4. Time management and organization: Ability to prioritize tasks, manage time effectively, and maintain a high level of organization.
  5. Product knowledge: Ability to quickly learn and understand products and services.
  6. Technical skills: Proficiency in CRM software, Microsoft Office, and other sales tools.
  7. Bachelor’s degree: Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field.

Working Conditions

  1. Travel: Frequent travel within a designated territory, potentially up to 80% of the time.
  2. Work environment: Work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment with multiple priorities and deadlines.

Performance Metrics

  1. Sales revenue: Meet or exceed sales targets and revenue goals.
  2. Customer acquisition: Acquire new customers and expand existing customer relationships.
