Obeledu Microfinance Bank Limited is a Microfinance Institution licensed by CBN in year 2000. Our objectives includes; to inculcate disciplined banking habits in the rural population, to inspire in the communities the spirit of ownership and maintenance of facilities and organisation. Generate credit from within the communities for enhancing the development of productive activities and the purposeful improvement of the economic states of the communities and their individual members, provide bridge loans during off-seasons as a means of breaking the dependency on and the hold of, local money-lenders on the vast majority of rural dwellers, formalize the use of communities as effective vehicles of rural change and national development and generally promote rural activities such as agriculture, commerce, arts and crafts, agro and mineral based cottage and small/medium scale industries and enterprise, vocational and trade skills, rural transportation and other rural economic activities particularly in support of small farmers, micro entrepreneurs, women, youths and co-operatives.

Job Position: Secretary to the Managing Director

Job Location: Anaocha, Anambra

Job Responsibilities

  1. Maintains calendars and schedules appointment.
  2. Draft and type correspondences for the MD’s signature.
  3. Handles incoming and outgoing correspondences register.
  4. Arrange meetings, takes minutes and distribute minutes of meetings.
  5. Answers telephone, screen callers and visitors and relay messages.
  6. Maintains records through filing, retrieval, retention, storage, updating and destruction.
  7. Performs other related duties as assigned.

Job Requirements

  1. B.Sc / HND in Secretarial Administration / Studies from a reputable institution or any related field.
  2. Minimum of 3 years experience in a similar position relating to financial institution.
  3. Good command in English Language.
  4. Experience in using relevant Office Suites (Microsoft Words, Excel, PowerPoint, Social media,and e-mail).
  5. High level integrity and confidentiality.
  6. Accurate comprehension, interpretation and capturing of information.
  7. Ability to work under pressure.
  8. Excellent Organizational, time management and multitasking Skills
  9. Good Listening skills.
  10. Good problem analysis and problem-solving skills.
  11. Good Attention to details
  12. Live within Anambra state or be able to relocate.
