Job Position: Senior Associate, FX Trading

Job Location: Lekki, Lagos

Job Description

  • As a Senior Associate, FX Trading , your primary responsibility will be to serve our clients, drive revenue and support the growth of FX trading at Flutterwave.

Job Responsibilities

  1. Support the trading of frontier and emerging market currencies.
  2. Closely monitor and manage liquidity across currencies to support the business.
  3. Support the Structuring of treasury deals for large merchants globally.
  4. Support the establishment of pricing rules for new products as required.
  5. Support the development of a risk framework for FX risk.
  6. Produce market updates and analytical content.
  7. Establish strong working partnerships internally and externally with key stakeholders.
  8. Generate analytics on trading activities and report periodically.
  9. Maintain knowledge of financial markets and regulatory updates
  10. Ensures compliance with all banking laws, rules, regulations, and prescribed policies/practices/procedures necessary to reduce risk and uphold ethical standards.
  11. Continuous evaluation of current processes vis-à-vis best industry practices

Job Requirements

  • 4+ years post-graduate experience in banking/treasury/payments/fintech
  • A minimum of a Bachelors Degree in a Business or Finance-related field
  • Experience & understanding of international payments, banking systems, Crypto on/off ramp
  • Good understanding of the EM and G10 FX trading operations and local regulations.
  • Proficiency in Excel and relevant tools
  • Experience or familiarity with all or some of Emerging Markets, FX, and remittances a plus.
  • Excellent Financial analytical, strategic planning and execution skills
  • High Level attention to details
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet set deadlines.
  • Excellent interpersonal, presentation skills and communication skills.
  • Work goal-oriented based on minimum supervision.
  • High sense of responsibility, accountability, integrity, and ethical standards
