Job Description

  1. Payvost is seeking a highly skilled Senior Backend Developer to join our fast-growing team.

  4. As a Senior Backend Developer, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining the back-end infrastructure that powers our platform, ensuring it runs smoothly, securely, and meets the needs of our customers.
  5. You will have opportunities to work on a wide range of exciting projects, from building new features to optimizing existing ones, and collaborate with talented team members across all areas of the business to deliver a seamless experience for our customers.

Job Responsibilities

  1. Develop and maintain the back-end infrastructure of the Payvost platform
  2. Design and implement scalable, reliable and secure solutions for data storage, retrieval, and querying from various sources
  3. Optimize and improve the performance and scalability of existing systems
  4. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design and implement new features and services
  5. Conduct code reviews and ensure code quality and testing best practices are followed
  6. Monitor and debug production systems, responding to and resolving issues in a timely manner
  7. Stay up to date with the latest trends and technologies in back-end development and contribute to the company’s technical roadmap.

Job Requirements

  1. A minimum of 5 years experience in back-end development, preferably in fintech or a related industry
  2. Strong experience with a programming language such as Python, Java, or Ruby
  3. Solid understanding of database design, optimization, and management
  4. Experience with cloud-based technologies such as AWS, GCP, or Azure
  5. Familiarity with RESTful API design and implementation
  6. Strong understanding of software development best practices, including version control, testing, and deployment
  7. Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to troubleshoot issues quickly and effectively.
