Job Position: Senior Backend Engineer

Job Location: Lagos

Job Description

  • MAKA is hiring an entrepreneurial and experienced Backend Engineer to join our team and work towards making our vision a reality.

Job Responsibilities

  1. You will write the core code that drives our product experiences: from API integrations to recommendations, and a whole lot more. Your work will balance deploying quickly with accuracy & scalability
  2. You will troubleshoot and debug issues to ensure a seamless end-user experience
  3. You will integrate technical and design requirements to produce a world-class product
  4. You will create reusable code and libraries for future use
  5. You will contribute to a healthy engineering team culture

Job Requirements

  • 7+ years of experience as a backend developer, with at least 3 years of experience with JavaScript: Node.js, NestJS
  • Experience working with AWS, Docker, TypeORM
  • Experience with micro services architecture and securely integrating 3rd party APIs.
