Job Description

  • The main purpose of this role is to identify and support the development of trading business and investment project opportunities under supervision of GM and DGM.

Job Responsibilities

  1. Under supervision of GM and DGM, to carry out research, analyse data, prepare proposals and advise on business opportunities, including trading businesses and investment projects, mainly in Ghana and Nigeria.
  2. With the guidance of the GM and DGM, to carry out negotiations and discussions with relevant stakeholders including companies and government and regulatory bodies to realize trading businesses.
  3. To create good relationship with the customers to grasp their needs in good manner to maintain and expand the business.
  4. Carrying out the risk management of relevant business.
  5. Reporting the market situation and the contract situation in timely manner.

Job Requirements

  1. Possess a Degree and professional or Postgraduate qualifications.
  2. Broad business development experience in trading. Experience of investment project is desirable.
  3. Experience in working for multinational or international companies and work experience in outside countries are desirable.
  4. Work experiences in or with Japanese company is essential.
  5. Good numerical and analytical skills.
  6. Work experience in the consulting firm is desirable.
  7. Ability to communicate effectively both orally and in writing in English.
  8. Good team working skills whilst having the ability to work independently.
  9. Willingness to travel and entertain customers and clients when required.
  10. Knowledge of basic trade transactions, credit management, logistics and basic legal affairs.
