Job Position: Senior Data Engineer

Job Responsibilities

  1. We are looking for a Senior Data Engineer with strong proficiency with Azure, AWS, and / or GCP platforms for one of our clients. You are a perfect candidate if you are growth-oriented, you love what you do, and you enjoy working on new ideas to develop exciting products.
  2. Design, develop, and maintain scalable and reliable data pipelines using cloud platforms (Azure, GCP, AWS).
  3. Integrate data from various sources, ensuring data quality, consistency, and reliability.
  4. Design and implement cloud-based data solutions, leveraging the best practices and services from Azure, GCP, and AWS.
  5. Develop and manage data warehousing solutions, optimising for performance and scalability.
  6. Create, optimise, and manage ETL processes to ensure efficient data flow and transformation.
  7. Identify and resolve performance bottlenecks in data processing and storage.
  8. Ensure data solutions adhere to security policies and compliance regulations.

Job Requirements

  1. Minimum of 5 years of experience in data engineering with a focus on cloud-based solutions.
  2. Deep expertise in Azure, GCP, and AWS data services, including but not limited to Azure Data Factory, Google BigQuery, and AWS Redshift.
  3. Proficiency in programming languages such as Python, SQL, and familiarity with Spark, Hadoop, or other big data technologies.
  4. Strong experience with relational and NoSQL databases.
  5. Experience with ETL tools and frameworks.
  6. Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with a proactive approach to identifying and resolving issues.
