Job Position: Senior Database Developer

Job Location: Lagos

Job Description

  1. Design and implement efficient, robust and scalable production quality components in TSQL.
  2. Write highly performing, scalable TSQL code (Stored Procedures, Functions e.t.c).
  3. Design physical and logical data modelling using the TOAD modelling tool.
  4. Perform the technical task of actually installing the system and all its necessary components.
  5. Identify and resolve all issues and provide support/assistance for same.
  6. Ensure quality implementation and customer satisfaction across all Client implementations
  7. Works to best practice development and support guidelines.

Job Requirements

  1. Minimum of Bachelor of Science Degree / Higher National Diploma in Computer Science, Mathematics, Physics, Business Analytics or any other related course.
  2. Minimum of 5 years professional experience in using Microsoft SQL Server (Script Writing).
  3. Extensive knowledge of development in Latest Microsoft SQL Server and prior versions
  4. Excellent TSQL coding experience (Stored Procedures and Functions)
  5. Experience in database performance tuning
  6. Good understanding of all Microsoft SQL Server features (Security, Backup/Restore, Replication, SSIS, SSRS, SSAS)
  7.  Strong knowledge working with Microsoft Development and Administration Tools (Visual Studio, Microsoft SQL Server Management Studio)
  8.  Experience in database performance tuning
  9. DevOPS Experience, Azure to be precise
  10. Use of R for data analysis will be of added advantage.
