Job Description

  1. We are looking for an experienced Senior Site Reliability Engineer to join our Professional Services team and deliver Software and DevSecOps projects.
  2. You will report to a Site Reliability Engineering Manager.
  3. SRE / DevOps is one of our core competencies. You will be part of a highly-skilled team that continuously innovates and delivers high value solutions to clients across various industries on all public clouds (AWS, Azure, GCP, etc). Technologies we work with daily include Kuberenetes, Helm, Terraform, GitOps, OPA, Calico, Linkerd, just to name a few.

Job Responsibilities

  1. Design and build advanced cloud-native infrastructure
  2. Guide technical discussions with clients and build technical roadmaps
  3. Collaborate with the Engineering Director(s) to (re)design architecture
  4. Assist the Site Reliability Manager with resource planning
  5. Mentor other engineers and share knowledge
  6. Document processes and monitor performance metrics
  7. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define, design, and ship new features.
  8. Constantly improve the stability, scalability, security, cost-effectiveness, and operational excellence of our clients’ systems.
  9. Continuously discover, evaluate, and implement new technologies to maximize development efficiency and security.
  10. Conduct infrastructure planning, testing, and development

Job Requirements

  1. At least five years experience working in a DevOps/SRE team
  2. Extensive experience in DevOps/SRE, team management and collaboration
  3. Advanced knowledge of best practices related to data encryption and cybersecurity
  4. Advanced knowledge of the general DevOps/SRE landscape, architectures, and emerging technologies
  5. Cloud experience, preferably GCP, Azure and AWS
  6. Experience in Observability Practices and Incident Management
  7. Extensive experience with Prometheus, Grafana, the Elastic Stack and all versions of Beats, especially within Kubernetes
  8. Experience with Infrastructure as Code, preferably Terraform
  9. Experience with general automation and config management, preferably Ansible
  10. Extensive experience building and maintaining Kubernetes clusters and workloads
  11. Strong foundation of basic network and security concepts
  12. Ability to build robust CICD pipelines
  13. Familiarity with relational and non-relational databases
  14. Solid understanding of Linux operating systems.
