Job Position: Senior Finance Officer
Job Location: Yaba, Lagos
Job Responsibilities
- Financial Strategy and Technology Sales Support: Develop and execute a financial strategy that caters to the unique needs of our technology sales and support services and ensure that financial planning and budgeting align with our industry’s
- Budgeting and Performance Management: Lead the annual budgeting process, collaborating closely with department heads to create detailed and accurate budgets and monitor financial performance against budgets and provide strategic insights to enhance financial outcomes.
- Comprehensive Financial Reporting: Prepare and deliver detailed financial reports to the executive team and board of directors, offering a transparent view of the company’s financial health.
- Conduct thorough financial analysis, identifying trends, risks, and opportunities to support data-driven decision-making.
- Risk Management and Regulatory Compliance: Identify, assess, and mitigate financial risks, implementing robust risk management policies and procedures.
- Ensure strict compliance with all financial laws, regulations, and tax obligations, with particular attention to the technology sales and support sector.
- Treasury and Cash Management: Manage the company’s cash flow, liquidity, and working capital, optimizing financial resources to meet the unique demands of technology sales and support.
- Strategic Partnerships and Stakeholder Management: Cultivate and manage relationships with external partners, including financial institutions, auditors, and other key stakeholders, to support our financial objectives and align them with the technology sales and support industry.
Job Requirements
- Bachelor’s Degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field is required. A Master’s Degree is a plus.
- Proven experience in senior financial leadership roles, with at least 5 years of experience in a similar capacity.
- Strong financial acumen, including financial analysis, modeling, and forecasting expertise.
- Comprehensive knowledge of financial regulations, reporting standards, and tax laws, particularly those relevant to technology sales and support.
- Exceptional leadership and management skills, with a track record of building high- performing finance teams.
- Strong communication and presentation skills for effectively conveying financial information to diverse stakeholders.
- Strategic thinking and the ability to contribute to the company’s growth and profitability.
- Experience in technology-related industries is a plus.
