KNCV Tuberculosis Foundation is an international non-profit organization dedicated to the fight against tuberculosis (TB), still the deadliest infectious disease in the world. KNCV is an international center of expertise for TB control that promotes effective, efficient, innovative and sustainable TB control strategies in a national and international context.  We are an organization of passionate TB professionals, including doctors, researchers, training experts, nurses and epidemiologists. Job Position: Senior HR Associate II

Job Location: Abuja

Job Description

  • The Senior HR Associate II is expected to coordinate all assigned human resources activities. Hierarchically, the Senior HR Associate II is to report to the KNCV Human Resources Officer.

Job Responsibilities

  1. Support the coordination of inductions for new staff.
  2. Support documentation for all employees.
  3. Maintain trackers of all recruitment and new staff information.
  4. Assist in collecting the information required for HR policies and other HR related projects.
  5. Manage the Senior HR Associate filing system for HR information, including sensitive and confidential information.
  6. Support with administration relating to HR strategic plans on capacity building, training, and all medical fitness for new hires and staff.
  7. Supervise annual medical checks for staff at KNCV Nigeria.
  8. Maintain up-to-date staff records in both electronic and hard copy files, and ensure the files are complete and all required documentation is maintained in a confidential and secure manner.
  9. Liaise with the HR officer to ensure seamless onboarding and offboarding of staff.
  10. Liaise with Senior HR Associate I in the monitoring of leave balances, follow through for updates in Job description, and initiate the performance management cycle for staff.
  11. Liaise with the senior HR officer to track the duration of all staff contracts and ensure they are updated or notified of termination a month before the due date.
  12. Supervise the Human Resource Associate in the preparation of all staff correspondence as assigned to him or her.
  13. Maintain an updated full-time, associate, and ad hoc staff list and monitor the demographics to give informed decision to HRM on staff demographics, e.g., gender ratio, etc.

Job Requirements

  1. A Degree in Business Management or any other relevant degree
  2. Working Knowledge of program management Especially USAID and Global Fund-funded projects.
  3. Ability to multitask.
  4. Ability to work with discretion.
  5. Good written and oral communication skills.
