Enough is Enough Nigeria (EiE) is a coalition of individuals and youth organizations committed to instituting a culture of good governance and public accountability in Nigeria through advocacy, activism and the mobilization of the youth population as responsible citizens. We are non partisan, neither are we a platform for the actualization of any individual’s political ambitions.

Our ambitious goal is to mobilize 10 million young people, cutting across religious, ethnic and socio economic divides in the country to be actively engaged in the electoral process by 2015.

Job Description

  • We are looking for a highly motivated individual with experience and passion for content strategy, blogging and online community development.

Job Requirements

  1. Minimum of a Bachelor’s Degree in a related field or at least 3 years of relevant experience.
  2. High comfort level with social media platforms – Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, YouTube, etc.
  3. Valid contact in traditional and new media.
  4. The Senior Media Associate will be responsible for the following:
  5. Update the social media calendar and posting schedule.
  6. Update the EiE blog twice weekly with relevant information.
  7. Consistent voice in all content creation.
  8. Develop ample content according to brief and requirements.
  9. Respond to all questions asked on EiE’s social media platforms
  10. All EiE owned/organised events must be live-tweeted.
  11. Increase followership on all social media platforms such as Twitter, blog etc. by at least 15% quarterly.
  12. Ensure EiE’s infographics is received and published in the appropriate newspaper.
  13. Ensure the weekly Newsletter broadcast is done.
  14. Ensure the set expected date of delivery of the print materials is adhered to.
  15. 0% design and content error on print materials.
  16. Prepare and submit weekly summary of analytics of all social media engagement to the management.
  17. Assist in planning and organising the annual Social Media Week.
  18. Ability to pay attention to fine details.
  19. Understand how to respond to trolls, negative comments.
  20. Ability to convey ideas in writing.
  21. Ability to maintain a consistent voice when writing on behalf of the company
  22. Ability to speak eloquently and fluently with courtesy and caution
  23. High comfort level with social media platforms – Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, YouTube, etc.
  24. Ability to use Social Media Analytics tools.
  25. Ability to develop relationships with audience, media vendor, media partners and clients and nourish existing ones.
  26. Understands how to engage audiences on different social media platforms e.g. Twitter, Facebook, etc.
  27. Ability to develop the right and engaging content.
  28. Ability to spot, understand, and set trends.
  29. Understand how to engage audiences on different social media platforms e.g. Twitter, Facebook, etc.
  30. Ability to speak and understand at least two Nigerian Local Languages.
  31. Ability to work together with colleagues to pool skills, ideas and objectives.
  32. Ability to develop well informed advice and strategies that are sensitive to the needs of the stakeholders and partners.
  33. Ability to exercise personal responsibility and autonomy to meet objectives.
