Job Position: Senior .Net Backend Developer

Job Location: Abuja (FCT)

Job Description

  1. We are looking for an experienced Senior .NET backend developer to oversee the development of functional .NET applications and websites.
  2. You will be acting in a managerial role, overseeing the functions of the junior .NET development staff.
  3. You will be directly involved with .NET application coding, system debugging, code reviewing, and the development of operational procedures.

Job Responsibilities

  1. Analyzing system requirements and prioritizing tasks
  2. Writing clean, testable code using .NET programming languages
  3. Developing technical specifications and architecture

  7. Test and debug various .NET applications
  8. Review and refactor code
  9. Deploy fully functional applications
  10. Upgrade existing programs
  11. Support junior developers’ work
  12. Document development and operational procedures
  13. Deploying functional websites, programs, and applications.
  14. Drafting software and application operating procedures.
  15. Meeting with technology managers to determine application and website requirements.

Job Requirements

  1. B.Sc in Computer Science, Engineering or relevant field. A Master’s degree is an added advantage.
  2. A minimum of 2 years work experience.
  3. Ability to understand and use dot net core, PostgreSQL, MSSQL, microservice APIs.
  4. An experience in working with Linux server will be an added advantage.
  5. Work experience as a .NET Developer
  6. Proficiency in building web-based applications
  7. In-depth knowledge of at least one of the .NET languages (like C# and Visual Basic .NET)
  8. Familiarity with agile environments
  9. Troubleshooting abilities
  10. Good communication skills
  11. Must be willing to work fully onsite.
