Job Position: Senior Python Engineer

Job Location: Nigeria

Job Responsibilities
Here are some of the things you’ll be working on:

  1. Working in a team of skilled developers
  2. Participate in the design and development of features and services, resolving technical problems as they arise
  3. Take ownership of the entire development process, from design to production, ensuring quality, automation tests, and efficient deployment
  4. Oversee the maintenance and improvement of existing functionality, ensuring code quality and alignment with business needs
  5. Encourage and facilitate the generation of innovative engineering ideas and solutions within the team
  6. Solution design for customer integrations and communication with the customer’s technical team
  7. Managing onboarding implementation projects for enterprise and large customers
  8. Tracking and communicating project status, issues, decisions, and action items to internal and external key stakeholders as needed
  9. Team performance management and PDP (Professional Development Plan) for team members
  10. Scrum ceremonies facilitation.

Job Requirements
You will be an excellent fit for this position if you have:
Mandatory:

  1. Python 3
  2. Django Framework
  3. Experience with Terraform
  4. Kubernetes
  5. Redis
  6. Experience with protocols: REST, (optional GraphQL, Websocket)
  7. OOP and SOLID principles knowledge
  8. Experience of using Test Frameworks for Unit and Performance Testing, Integration and E2E testing
  9. Experience with implementation of RESTful web services and 3rd party APIs integrations
  10. Experience and understanding of AWS software solutions.
  11. Solid understanding and practical use of DevOps tools related to IaC, CI/CD pipelines
  12. English level – Advanced
  13. Knowledge of JavaScript and TypeScript.
