Job Position: Senior Sales Executive
Location: Kano

Job Summary

We are seeking a highly driven and experienced Senior Sales Executive to join our team in Kano.

The ideal candidate must have a strong background in renewable energy sales, excellent communication skills, and a proven ability to deliver revenue growth.

You will be responsible for driving strategic sales initiatives, managing key accounts, and expanding our market presence in the Northern region.

Job Responsibilities

  1. Develop and execute sales strategies to achieve monthly and annual revenue targets.
  2. Drive business growth by identifying new opportunities in the renewable energy sector (solar, backup systems, inverters, batteries, etc.).
  3. Manage and grow relationships with key customers, distributors, and partners.
  4. Conduct market research to understand customer needs, competitor activities, and industry trends.
  5. Prepare and deliver compelling sales presentations and product demonstrations.
  6. Lead contract negotiations and close deals with both new and existing clients.
  7. Collaborate with the technical and operations teams to ensure smooth project delivery and customer satisfaction.
  8. Provide accurate and timely sales forecasts, reports, and market feedback to management.
  9. Mentor and support junior sales staff when required.

Requirements

  1. Minimum of 5 years proven experience in sales, with at least 3 years specifically in renewable energy (solar solutions, inverters, energy storage, etc.).
  2. Strong network and proven track record of selling renewable energy products in Northern Nigeria, especially Kano.
  3. Excellent negotiation, communication, and presentation skills.
  4. Ability to work independently, travel within the region, and meet tight deadlines.
  5. Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret sales performance metrics.
  6. Proficiency in CRM tools and Microsoft Office Suite.

Preferred Qualifications:

  1. Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Engineering, or a related field.
  2. Experience working with solar distributors, installers, and large commercial clients.
  3. Hausa language proficiency is an added advantage.
