Job Description

  1. We are looking for an experienced and highly skilled Video Editor to join our Content Studio.
  2. The ideal candidate will be a master storyteller with a keen eye for detail, exceptional technical proficiency, and a passion for creating visually compelling content.
  3. As a Senior Video Editor, you will play a pivotal role in shaping the visual narrative of our projects, from concept development to final delivery.

Job Responsibilities

  1. Collaborate with creative directors, producers, and other team members to develop and execute creative concepts and storytelling strategies for video projects.
  2. Edit raw footage into polished, engaging, and cohesive videos that effectively communicate the intended message and resonate with the target audience.
  3. Utilize advanced editing techniques, motion graphics, and visual effects to enhance storytelling and elevate the overall quality of video content.
  4. Proactively re-purpose and readapt existing content to optimize its effectiveness across various platforms and formats.
  5. Perform color grading, sound design, and audio mixing to enhance the visual and auditory impact of videos.
  6. Manage data assets and ensure the organization, storage, and accessibility of digital media files in accordance with established protocols.
  7. Stay abreast of industry trends, emerging technologies, and best practices in video editing, motion graphics, and post-production techniques.
  8. Mentor and provide guidance to junior editors and interns, fostering their growth and development within the team.

Job Requirements

  1. Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience in film production, digital media, or a related field.
  2. Minimum 5 years of experience working as a video editor in a professional setting, with a strong portfolio showcasing a diverse range of projects and styles.
  3. Proficiency in industry-standard video editing software (e.g., Adobe Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro), motion graphics software (e.g., Adobe After Effects), and color grading tools (e.g., DaVinci Resolve).
  4. Demonstrated expertise in storytelling through edits, with a keen understanding of pacing, rhythm, and visual storytelling techniques.
  5. Proven ability to repurpose and readapt content for different platforms and audiences, while maintaining brand consistency and integrity.
