Job Position: SEO Specialist

Job Location: Lagos, Nigeria

Job Description

  1. Performing ongoing keyword research including discovery and expansion of keyword opportunities
  2. Researching and implementing content recommendations for organic SEO success
  3. Research and analyze competitor advertising links
  4. Develop and implement link building strategy
  5. Work with the technology team to ensure SEO best practices are properly implemented on newly developed code
  6. Blog content creation and management
  7. Recommend changes to website architecture, content, linking and other factors to improve SEO positions for target keywords.
  8. Optimizing copy and landing pages for search engine optimization
  9. Tracking important SEO metrics including organic traffic, conversion rates and time spent on page

Job Requirements

  1. Work experience as an SEO Specialist or similar
  2. Familiarity with keyword research and management tools
  3. In-depth experience with website analytics tools (e.g, Google Analytics, WebTrends etc)
  4. Working knowledge of HTML, CSS, and JavaScript development and constraints
  5. Knowledge of ranking factors and search engine algorithms
  6. Up-to-date with the latest trends and best practices in SEO
