Job Position: Site Engineer
Location: Lagos

Job Summary
As a Site Engineer, you will play a vital role in ensuring the successful implementation of construction projects, working closely with the Project Supervisor as your direct line manager.

Job Responsibilities
Implementation of Project Designs and Schedule:

  1.  Explicitly implement project designs and construction works schedule as instructed by the Project
  2. Supervisor or Executive Assistant for project management and coordination.
  3. Ensure adherence to the approved designs and project schedule throughout the construction process.

Coordination of Site Activities:

  1. Take charge of coordinating the activities of masons, labourers, and all ad hoc staff assigned to your projects.
  2. Maintain effective communication and collaboration with project team members to ensure project objectives are met.

Collaboration with Stakeholders:

  1. Work closely with the Project Supervisor, Executive Assistant, and external structural/quality control team (consultants) to ensure conformity with the company’s standards and offerings to our subscribers.
  2.  Contribute to the implementation of Samovic Homes and Properties Ltd’s construction policy.

Construction Quality Assurance:

  1. Ensure that construction works align with project designs and specifications, without errors or inconsistencies.
  2.  Implement the company’s project checklist to maintain quality assurance throughout the construction process.

Resource Management:

  1. Optimise the utilisation of financial resources and materials allocated for site use.
  2. Take responsibility for minimising wastage on-site and be held accountable for resource management.

Requirements

  1. B.SC/HND in Civil Engineering or Building Technology.
  2. Minimum of 5 years of relevant experience as a Site Engineer in the real estate and property construction industry.
  3. Relevant educational qualifications in Engineering or a related field.
  4.  Strong knowledge and understanding of construction practices, project management, and quality control.
  5. Proficiency in reading and interpreting project designs and specifications.
  6. Excellent organisational and coordination skills to ensure smooth project execution.
  7. Strong communication and interpersonal skills are required to collaborate effectively with project stakeholders.
  8. Ability to work under pressure and meet project deadlines.

REMUNERATION:
Salary Ranges from N1.8 Million to N3 Million p/a
