Job Position: Social Media and Communication Officer

Job Location: Lagos

Job Responsibilities

  1. Contribute to improving social media content across all company’s social media channels by providing compelling material for our target audience
  2. Collaborate with our communications and marketing departments to ensure high-quality and relevant content
  3. Manage our social media platforms and communities by creating and posting content
  4. Monitor and evaluate social media campaigns to recommend improvement
  5. Identify gaps in our social media and communications strategies by conducting a competitive analysis
  6. Keep track of social media trends and behaviors to ensure engaging and valuable content
  7. Contribute to improving internal and external communications by helping develop and implement an effective communications strategy

Job Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Social Media, Communications, Marketing, or a related field
  • 3+ years of experience creating and managing social media content
  • Experience in developing and implementing successful social media and communications strategies
  • Experience with email marketing using different platforms, software, and tools, such as Mailchimp, Outlook, and Constant Contact
  • Outstanding communication, analytic, and interpersonal skills
