Job Description

We are seeking a creative and passionate Social Media Content Creator Intern to join the Soft Nigeria team. This role is perfect for someone who loves creating engaging videos, captions, and stories for social platforms and wants to gain hands-on experience in digital media. You will help shape our online presence, interact with our audience, track performance metrics, and contribute to innovative content strategies that grow our brand visibility.

Job Responsibilities

  1. Create engaging short-form videos for Soft Nigeria’s social media platforms.
  2. Write captivating captions, headlines, and descriptions to boost interaction.
  3. Research trends to develop timely and relevant content.
  4. Monitor and respond to audience interactions in a professional manner.
  5. Track and report engagement metrics (likes, shares, comments, etc.).
  6. Suggest new content ideas based on analytics and audience feedback.
  7. Support event coverage (online and on-site) by capturing highlights and posting in real time.
  8. Collaborate with the editorial and creative teams to achieve brand goals.

Requirements

  1. Currently a student or recent graduate in Marketing, Communications, Media, or a related field.
  2. Strong understanding of social media platforms (Instagram, TikTok, Twitter, Facebook).
  3. Basic knowledge of design/editing tools (e.g., Canva, CapCut).
  4. Creative thinking and storytelling ability.
  5. Good communication skills and attention to detail.
  6. Eagerness to learn and adapt quickly in a fast-paced environment.
