Job Position: Digital Marketer / Social Media Executive

Job Location: Yaba, Lagos

Job Description

  1. Digital Marketing Specialists should compare the company’s advertising techniques and offerings with those of competing businesses.
  2. They should help maintain a profitable message for the company and help with research to ensure that offerings come close to ideal price points to offer value to potential clients but still let you enjoy a thriving business.
  3. They should keep an eye on data that shows changing trends in advertising consumption and ensure that potential clients and consumers view your company’s ad projects and buy your products.

Duties will often include the following:

  1. Research advertising trends
  2. Research competitors’ pricing and products
  3. Decide on appropriate placement of ads
  4. Determine what content will reach customers
  5. Develop projects to create content
  6. Publish digital marketing content online
  7. Implement email marketing campaigns
  8. Measure digital traffic
  9. Monitor social media and Google Analytics
  10. Optimize paid advertising campaigns using SEO and other tools
  11. Report on the growth and analytics of campaigns to stakeholders
  12. Scale campaigns to maximize ROI
  13. Monitor project status and budget
  14. Conduct market research to inform campaigns
  15. Brainstorm and implement experiments and conversion tests

Job Responsibilities

  1. Work with internal marketing teams and external suppliers to drive successful execution of the client campaigns, client success is paramount.
  2. Create and monitor email marketing campaigns to maximize client results.
  3. Monitor activity, answer questions, create content, analyze trends, and resolve issues on social media channels.
  4. Monitor and report on web traffic and source analytics against KPIs.
  5. Work on pre-designated client content, as well as create original content.
  6. Research advertising trends
  7. Research competitors’ pricing and products
  8. Decide on appropriate placement of ads
  9. Developing and executing the organisation’s annual digital marketing plan, including PPC, SEO, Social Media, Affiliates and Display/Re-targeting
  10. Devising innovative digital marketing campaigns, that feed into the organisation’s overarching marketing strategy
  11. Creating engaging digital content that increases customer engagement and enhances the organisation’s online brand
  12. Implementing strategies to drive traffic to the organization’s website, including SEO and PPC
  13. Creating and implementing a social media policy and framework for the organisation
  14. Moderating all social media platforms including Twitter, Instagram and Facebook
  15. Managing the digital marketing budget, including allocating budgets across different channels and platforms
  16. Producing regular digital dashboards for the Head of Marketing, reporting progress against set KPIs
  17. Working closely with colleagues in sales and IT to ensure all activity is integrated
  18. Other duties as assigned by the management team.

Job Requirements

  1. Interested candidates should possess a Bachelor’s Degree in relevant fields
  2. Minimum 2 years’ experience.
  3. Proficient in content creation, strategy, Google Analytics, email marketing, and paid social advertising.
  4. Must be strategic, possess strong attention to detail, demonstrate good communication skills, and have exceptional organization.
  5. Google Certified.
  6. This person must have the ability to work within deadlines and manage multiple tasks and/or projects while portraying a positive attitude.
  7. This role is flexible dependent on the candidate (full time).

Salary
N100,000 – N150,000 monthly.
