Job Position: Social Media / IT Executive

Job Description

  1. The Social Media / IT Executive is responsible for overseeing the strategic planning, implementation, and optimization of the company’s social media presence and digital platforms.
  2. This role requires a unique blend of technical expertise and social media marketing skills to ensure a seamless and effective online experience for the target audience.
  3. The Social Media/IT Executive will collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to integrate social media initiatives with the overall IT infrastructure and digital strategy, driving brand awareness, audience engagement, and business growth.

Job Responsibilities
Social Media Strategy and Management:

  1. Develop and execute a comprehensive social media strategy that aligns with the company’s marketing and communication goals.
  2. Conduct in-depth research and analysis to identify the target audience, their preferences, and the most effective social media platforms.
  3. Oversee the creation and curation of engaging, visually appealing, and high-quality content for the company’s social media channels.
  4. Manage the day-to-day community engagement, including responding to comments, messages, and mentions in a timely and professional manner.
  5. Continuously monitor and analyze the performance of social media campaigns and activities using relevant analytics tools and platforms.
  6. Identify areas for improvement and recommend data-driven adjustments to optimize the social media strategy.

Digital Platform Management and Integration:

  1. Oversee the design, development, and maintenance of the company’s website, online portals, and other digital assets
  2. Ensure seamless integration of the social media channels with the company’s IT infrastructure and digital systems.
  3. Collaborate with the IT team to implement advanced features, functionalities, and security measures for the digital platforms.
  4. Continuously monitor and troubleshoot any technical issues or user experience problems across the digital platforms.
  5. Implement cutting-edge technologies, tools, and best practices to enhance the overall digital ecosystem and user experience.

Cross-Functional Collaboration and Coordination:

  1. Work closely with the marketing, advertising, and public relations teams to ensure a cohesive and integrated approach to the company’s online presence.
  2. Coordinate with the content creation, design, and IT teams to ensure the timely delivery and seamless implementation of digital initiatives.
  3. Provide training and guidance to other team members on best practices for social media management, digital content creation, and platform optimization.
  4. Collaborate with the data analytics team to generate comprehensive reports and derive insights to enhance the performance of digital assets and social media campaigns.

Innovation and Thought Leadership:

  1. Stay informed about the latest industry trends, emerging technologies, and social media platform updates to continuously improve the company’s digital ecosystem.
  2. Identify and implement innovative solutions to enhance the user experience, increase operational efficiency, and drive business growth.
  3. Share industry knowledge and best practices by contributing to relevant industry publications, participating in conferences, and engaging with professional communities.
  4. Foster a culture of digital innovation and encourage the adoption of new technologies and tools within the organization.

Job Requirements

  1. Bachelor’s or Master’s Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Digital Marketing, or a related field.
  2. Must have 5-7 years of experience in a similar role, managing the intersection of social media, digital platforms, and IT operations.
  3. Proficient in using popular social media platforms (e.g., Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, LinkedIn, TikTok) and associated analytics tools.
  4. Strong technical skills and understanding of web development, content management systems, and digital platform integration.
  5. Excellent project management and problem-solving abilities to coordinate cross-functional initiatives.
  6. Proven track record of developing and implementing successful social media and digital strategies that drive measurable business results.
  7. Analytical mindset with the ability to interpret data, derive insights, and optimize digital performance.
  8. Outstanding communication and collaboration skills to work effectively with various teams and stakeholders.
  9. Creativity and adaptability to stay ahead of emerging social media and digital technology trends.
  10. Passion for staying up-to-date with the latest industry developments and innovations.
