Job Position: Female Social Media Executive
Location: Lagos

Job Responsibilities
Internal & external communications:

  1. Collaborate with management to develop and implement an effective communications strategy based on our target audience.
  2. Write, edit, and distribute content, including publications, press releases, website content, annual reports, speeches, and other marketing material that communicates the organisation’s activities, products and/or services.
  3. Respond to media inquiries, arrange interviews, and act as a spokesperson for the organisation.
  4. Establish and maintain effective relationships with journalists and maintain a media database.
  5. Seek opportunities to enhance the reputation of the brand and coordinate publicity events as required.
  6. Maintain records of media coverage and collate analytics and metrics.

Social media management:

  1. Developing engaging social media strategies and managing social media platforms of the organisation.
  2. Scheduling social media posts and engaging followers with regular company updates.
  3. Creating brand awareness to gain audience attention and responding to the comments on social media on time.
  4. Creating paid social media campaigns for advertising, monitoring social media metrics and ROI.
  5. Preparing social media engagement and activities reports.

Requirements

  1. Bachelor’s Degree in Communications, Journalism, English Language or related field.
  2. Minimum of 2 years relevant experience in a communications role.
  3. Knowledge of desktop publishing software (InDesign/Photoshop).
  4. Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal skills.
  5. Good time management and organisational skills.
  6. In-depth Knowledge of SEO, Social/Digital Media
  7. Proficient in Microsoft Office, content management systems, and social media platforms.

Salary
N200,000 – N250,000 Monthly.
