Job Position: Social / Digital Media Manager

Job Location: Yaba, Lagos

Job Description

  • We are looking for a savvy and creative Social/Digital Media Manager to join the team. As the Social/Digital Media Manager, you will be creatively managing and overseeing our social media platforms.

Job Responsibilities

  1. This includes the use of social media pages, E-mail marketing, pay-per-click advertising on search engines, video commercials, sponsored ads on social platforms
  2. The successful candidate will ensure that the SEO marketing strategy is employed to ensure maximum reach to the customer.
  3. Ensure doing regular keyword searches to keep abreast with current consumption trends.
  4. Develop creative and engaging social media strategies
  5. Manage the day-to-day handling of all social media channels such as LinkedIn, Facebook, Twitter, Pinterest, Instagram, Tiktok and YouTube, adapting content to suit different channels
  6. Oversee, plan, and deliver content across different platforms using scheduling tools such as Sprinklr, Hootsuite, Asana, and Olapic
  7. Create engaging multimedia content (and/or outsource this effectively) across multiple platforms
  8. Develop, launch, and manage new competitions and campaigns that promote the organization and brand
  9. Form key relationships with influencers across the social media platforms
  10. Manage and facilitate social media communities by responding to social media posts and developing discussions
  11. Monitor, track, analyze, and report on performance on social media platforms using tools such as Google Analytics and Facebook insights
  12. Research and evaluate the latest trends and techniques to find new and better ways of measuring social media activity
  13. Recommend improvements to increase performance
  14. Set targets to increase brand awareness and increase customer engagement
  15. Manage, motivate, and coach junior staff such as social media executives or assistants
  16. Manage a budget for social media activities
  17. Educate other staff on the use of social media and promote its use within your company.

Job Requirements

  1. Candidates should possess OND / HND / Bachelor’s Degrees with 1 – 5 years of relevant work experience
  2. Proven work experience as a Social media manager (If you don’t have real-time working experience or still a novice, please don’t apply)
  3. Hands-on experience in content management
  4. Excellent copywriting skills
  5. Ability to deliver creative content
  6. Solid knowledge of SEO, keyword research, and Google Analytics
  7. Knowledge of online marketing channels
  8. Excellent communication skills
  9. Analytical and multitasking skills.
