Job Position: Social Media Manager

Job Location: Nigeria

Job Responsibilities

  1. Develop and execute a comprehensive social media strategy that aligns with the company’s goals and objectives.
  2. Manage all social media channels including Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, LinkedIn and YouTube.
  3. Create engaging social media content that is consistent with the company’s brand guidelines and resonates with the target audience.
  4. Monitor and analyze social media metrics to measure the effectiveness of campaigns and provide insights and recommendations for improvement.
  5. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure consistency of brand messaging and customer engagement.
  6. Respond to comments and messages on social media platforms in a timely and professional manner.
  7. Manage social media advertising campaigns including budgeting, targeting and optimization.
  8. Stay up-to-date with social media trends and best practices, and incorporate them into the company’s social media strategy.
  9. Develop influencer marketing strategies and manage relationships with influencers.
  10. Monitor and report on social media competitors and industry trends.
  11. Perform other functions as assigned by the Board and the Group MD/ CEO.

Job Requirements

  1. Bachelor’s Degree in Marketing, Communications, or a related field.
  2. Proven experience in social media management with a track record of successful campaigns.
  3. Excellent writing and communication skills.
  4. A Certification in Social Media Management or Digital Marketing will be an added advantage
  5. Strong understanding of social media trends and best practices.
  6. Knowledge of the payment services industry is a plus.

Profile:

  1. The ideal candidate for this role should have at least 3 years of experience in social media management.
  2. A proven track record of managing successful campaigns.
  3. The candidate should have a deep understanding of social media trends and best practices, excellent communication skills and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
  4. The candidate should posses at least basic experience in using graphics design tools like – Photoshop, Adobe Illustrator or Corel Draw.
  5. Candidate must be painstakingly attentive to details.
