Job Position: Social Media Manager

Job Location: Lagos

Job Responsibilities

  1. Develop and implement an effective social media strategy to enhance the company’s online presence and promote brand awareness.
  2. Manage and maintain the company’s social media channels, including but not limited to Facebook, Twitter, LinkedIn, Instagram, and YouTube.
  3. Create engaging and shareable content tailored to each platform, including posts, images, videos, and infographics.
  4. Monitor social media trends, industry news, and competitor activities to identify opportunities for growth and stay ahead of the curve.
  5. Interact with followers, respond to comments and messages, and foster meaningful connections with our online community.
  6. Collaborate with the marketing team to align social media efforts with overall marketing campaigns and initiatives.
  7. Track, analyze, and report on key social media metrics, such as engagement, reach, and conversions, using analytics tools.
  8. Stay up-to-date with emerging social media platforms, tools, and best practices, and recommend innovative strategies to drive results.

Job Requirements

  1. Bachelor’s Degree in Marketing, Communications, or a related field.
  2. Proven work experience as a Social Media Manager or similar role, preferably in the fintech industry.
  3. Extensive knowledge of social media platforms, trends, and best practices.
  4. Strong copywriting and content creation skills, with the ability to adapt tone and style for different audiences.
  5. Proficiency in using social media management and analytics tools.
  6. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  7. Creative thinking and a keen eye for design aesthetics.
  8. Ability to work independently, manage multiple projects simultaneously, and meet deadlines.
