Job Description

  1. As a social media manager, you will ensure that content strategy aligns with organisational objectives.
  2. Your responsibilities will include creating and reviewing social media calendars, monitoring the performance of previous posts, developing engaging and competitive content, preparing reports, and collaborating with influencers to enhance brand reach and engagement.

  1. Develop, implement, and manage our social media strategy
  2. Develop a content calendar
  3. Manage and oversee social media content
  4. Measure the success of every social media campaign
  5. Stay up to date with the latest social media best practices and technologies
  6. Use social media marketing tools such as Buffer
  7. Attend events and educational conferences
  8. Work with copywriters and designers to ensure content is informative and appealing
  9. Collaborate with Marketing, Sales and Product Development teams
  10. Optimize and monitor SEO and user engagement and suggest content optimization
  11. Communicate with industry professionals and influencers via social media to create a strong network
  12. Community management on all social media channels
  13. Lead the day-to-day management of our digital channels, creating inspirational, informative, and engaging content
  14. Plan, produce and create a program of digital content to be used across all our digital channels for effective publication
  15. Develop creative ideas, suggest new innovative ways of delivering digital content and keep up to date with the latest digital marketing trends
  16. Create awareness and interest within our audiences and stakeholder groups, driving traffic to engage with digital content
  17. Monitor, analyse and report on the performance of digital channels/activities using tools like Google Analytics, give feedback to stakeholders and use the data to inform future activities
  18. Manage our editorial calendar to ensure timely publication
  19. Evaluate and implement improvements in digital strategy.
  20. Research the latest digital tools and interactive trends.
  21. Create integrated and cost-effective digital strategies.
  22. Drive value for the organization.
  23. Analyse and report on digital campaigns.
  24. Analyse customer and user data.
  25. Engage with clients, sales teams, and management.
  26. Map out how digital assets will be optimized for business results.
  27. Define and action digital events.

Job Requirements

  1. Bachelor’s Degree in Advertising, Marketing, Communication Science or equivalent.
  2. Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  3. Firm grasp of emerging digital tools.
  4. Thorough understanding of digital touch points.
  5. Excellent interpersonal skills.
  6. Insightful and perceptive.
  7. Business knowledge.
