Job Description

  1. The objective or purpose of a social media executive job is to develop and execute the company’s social media strategy, with the goal of building and maintaining a strong online presence, engaging with customers and potential customers, and driving traffic and conversions.
  2. The social media executive will work closely with the marketing team to align social media efforts with overall marketing goals and will be responsible for creating and curating engaging content, monitoring, and responding to customer inquiries and complaints, and analyzing and reporting on social media metrics.
  3. The goal of the social media executive is to help the company effectively use social media marketing to drive business growth and achieve its marketing and sales objectives.

Job Responsibilities

  1. Plan and execute social media campaigns and initiatives.
  2. Monitor and respond to comments and messages on social media channels.
  3. Research and stay up to date on industry trends and best practices.
  4. Work with the marketing team to identify target audiences and create targeted content.
  5. Collaborate with other departments to ensure a consistent brand presence across all social media channels
  6. Set specific objectives and report on ROI weekly and monthly.
  7. Generate, edit, publish, and share engaging content daily.

Job Requirements

  1. Bachelor’s Degree in Marketing, Communications, or a related field (preferred but not required)
  2. At least two (2) years of experience in social media marketing or a related field
  3. Strong written and verbal communication skills
  4. Proficiency in social media management tools (e.g. Hootsuite, Buffer)
  5. Familiarity with social media analytics and reporting
  6. Creativity and the ability to generate new ideas
  7. Ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment
  8. Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  9. Willingness to learn and adapt to new technologies and techniques
  10. Knowledge of the financial industry (preferred but not required
  11. Experience with social media advertising (preferred but not required)
  12. Graphic design skills (preferred but not required)
  13. Video editing skills (preferred but not required)
  14. Basic understanding of search engine optimization (SEO) (preferred but not required)
  15. Customer service experience (preferred but not required)
