Job Description
- As a Social Media Manager Intern, you will play a crucial role in developing and implementing our social media strategies to increase our online presence and improve our marketing and sales efforts.
- Your role will be to oversee our blog’s social media pages, curate content, and engage with our audience to foster community growth.
Job Responsibilities
- Manage and maintain the blog’s social media pages, including Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, LinkedIn, and other relevant platforms.
- Create, curate, and schedule engaging content that aligns with our brand voice and marketing goals.
- Monitor social media channels for industry trends, competitor activities, and audience preferences.
- Engage with our audience by responding to comments, messages, and mentions in a timely and professional manner.
- Assist in developing and executing social media campaigns and strategies to drive traffic to our blog and increase engagement.
- Analyze social media metrics and generate reports to track performance and identify areas for improvement.
- Collaborate with the content and marketing teams to ensure consistent and cohesive messaging across all platforms.
Job Requirements
- Currently pursuing or recently completed a degree in Marketing, Communications, Journalism, or a related field.
- Proven experience managing social media pages, particularly for blogs or digital publications.
- Strong understanding of social media platforms, algorithms, and best practices.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Creative thinking and the ability to generate innovative content ideas.
- Familiarity with social media management tools (e.g., Hootsuite, Buffer) and analytics platforms (e.g., Google Analytics, Facebook Insights).
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
- Detail-oriented with strong organizational and time management skills.
Salary
- N30,000 – N50,000 per month.
