Job Position: Social Media / Content Strategist (Marketing)

Job Location: Lagos

Job Description

  1. We are looking for a super skilled and creative Social media and content strategist to join our team.
  2. The ideal candidate will lead all social media developments and implement a comprehensive social media strategy aimed at increasing our brand awareness and online presence/traffic.
  3. Since you’ll be leading our team of strategist, you should have excellent multitasking skills and a strong sense of leadership because you will be handling all of our social media accounts in a cohesive way.
  4. The right person is comfortable working cross-functionally.
  5. Ultimately, you should be able to ensure our company’s web presence is aligned with our marketing strategies.
  6. If you possess creative ideas on how to present a brand on a multiplicity of social media channels and wish to become part of a future-forward team, then we invite you to apply.

Job Responsibilities

  1. Achieve marketing targets through the design of social media strategies.
  2. Create or reword and publish original, high-quality content on the website and all platforms.
  3. Keep content on social media up-to-date.
  4. Collaborate with Marketing/Product development teams to create social ‘buzz’ regarding new product launches.
  5. Maintain a strong network by communicating with industry professionals via social media.
  6. Deliver training to team members on social media strategy and encourage engineers to write.
  7. Identify a target audience, their preferences, and tailor matching content.
  8. Stay up-to-date with new digital technologies and social media best practices.

Job Requirements
Qualifications:

  1. Proven work experience as a Social Media Strategist or Social Media Manager
  2. Sense of leadership and initiative.
  3. You’re authentic, honest, and creative.
  4. Highly evolved communication, verbal, and writing skills.
  5. Strong research skills
  6. Strategic thinker
  7. Creative and compelling storyteller.
