Job Position: Graphic Designer and Social Media Personnel

Job Location: Lagos

Job Responsibilities

  1. Manage production of products, custom banners, t-shirts, from concept to final product.
  2. Design brochures and advertising material.
  3. Design Training and Marketing’s materials, including PowerPoint presentations,
  4. Produce corporate identity systems and collateral print materials, print advertising, product/capabilities brochures, direct mail and newsletters
  5. Produce daily, weekly and monthly newsletters
  6. Create cleaner HTML email templates and help others within the team
  7. Create and design email templates, and hand coding for email marketing campaigns
  8. Develop various magazine ads, posters, newsletters, and website maintenance for clients both locally and internationally.
  9. Manage social media pages of our clients, support in content development.
  10. Participate in design discussions and give feedback during planning and strategy meetings.
  11. Quickly translate ideas into sketches, wireframes, mockups, and interactive prototypes.
  12. Test assets and optimize based on their performance.
  13. Iterate new designs based on company’s feedback.
  14. Create digital assets video, images, animation and graphics for platforms (social, display advertising, websites).
  15. Design and develop homepages, landing pages, and email concepts.
  16. Create and execute concepts for digital advertising.
  17. Research industry trends to present ideas and concepts for timely digital innovation.
  18. Develop illustrations, logos and other designs using software or by hand.
  19. Use the appropriate colors and layouts for each graphic.
  20. Amend designs after feedback.
  21. Ensure final graphics and layouts are visually appealing and on-brand.
  22. Translate product positioning, existing research, and offline/online marketing strategies into effective designs.
  23. Provide design support to other business lines to create product graphics, logos, identity design, or other similar offline graphics.

Job Requirements

  1. Must be a B.Sc. or HND holder.
  2. Must have experience in Creative Arts and Social Media
  3. Experience in the design thinking process, agile development, and lean startup methodologies.
  4. Experience working in a collaborative team environment.
  5. Experience working directly with developers to implement designs.
  6. Expertise with standard digital design tools, including Sketch, Adobe Illustrator, Adobe Photoshop, Adobe XD, InVision, etc.
  7. Working knowledge of CSS and HTML.
  8. Photo and video editing expertise.
  9. Strong knowledge of current digital design best practices and web production techniques.
  10. Experience with user-centered design, rapid prototyping, and user testing.
  11. A good understanding of visual design principles.
  12. Proven digital content skills.
  13. Experience creating digital assets for a variety of target audiences.
  14. Strong portfolio showing the breadth of digital design capabilities.
  15. A strong portfolio of illustrations or other graphics.
  16. A keen eye for aesthetics and details.
  17. Excellent communication skills.
  18. Ability to work methodically and meet deadlines
  19. Open to NYSC CORP MEMBERS.
