Job Position: Software Developer (Flutter)

Job Location: Lagos (Remote)

Job Responsibilities

  1. Design and Build highly sophisticated and scalable apps using Flutter
  2. Build custom packages in Flutter using the functionalities and APIs already available in native Android and IOS
  3. Translate and Build the designs and Wireframes into high-quality responsive UI code
  4. Write efficient queries for core Data
  5. Use of Model-View-Controller ( MVC) and Model-View-ViewModel-Controller (MVVM) as it relates to designing, developing architecture and developing maintainable, testable and functional software that meets product requirements.
  6. Explore feasible architectures for implementing new features
  7. Resolve any problems existing in the system and suggest and add new features in the complete system
  8. Suggest space and time-efficient Data Structures
  9. Follow the best practices while developing the app and also keep everything structured and well documented
  10. Use CI/CD for smooth deployment
  11. Document the project and code efficiently
  12. Manage the code and project on Git in order to keep in sync with other team members and managers
  13. Communicate with the Project Manager regarding the status of projects and suggest appropriate deadlines for new functionalities
  14. Ensure security guidelines are always followed while developing the app.
  15. Suggest new features and/or enhancements
  16. Maintaining software through product lifecycle including design, development, verification and bug fixes
  17. Connect regularly with the Quality Assurance Specialist to deliver a stable app
  18. Resolve all the bugs reported by the Quality Assurance Specialist in a timely manner
  19. Perform time profiling and memory leaks assessment
  20. Execute app verification protocol.

Job Requirements

  1. B.Sc / HND in Computer Science or equivalent
  2. Relevant certification(s) in Software Engineering or its related course
  3. Three or more years’ experience
  4. Understanding of Agile development methodologies
  5. Data access and API integration,
  6. SOLID Design Principles
  7. Knowledge of successful development workflows.
  8. Flutter
  9. Native Android and IOS
  10. Experience with Firebase
  11. Understanding usage of Figma /or AdobeXD
  12. Git
  13. High level of self-organisation
  14. Strong teamwork and communication skills.
