Job Description

  • We are seeking a talented and motivated Software Developer with a strong background in software engineering and a passion for technology to join our team at our Abuja headquarters.
  • The ideal candidate will possess 5 years of industry experience, demonstrating proficiency in designing and developing software solutions that meet business needs while providing innovative solutions in the field of Business Consulting and Services.

Job Responsibilities

  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather and analyze requirements for software development projects.
  • Design, develop, test, and maintain high-quality software applications according to specifications.
  • Participate in code reviews to ensure coding best practices and enhance team performance.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve software defects and performance issues in a timely manner.
  • Document software designs, development processes, and technical specifications accurately.
  • Stay updated on emerging technologies and trends in software development to incorporate innovative solutions into projects.
  • Contribute to team meetings, offering input on project status and potential improvements to development processes.
  • Mentor and support junior developers to promote skills development and team collaboration.

Job Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field.
  • A minimum of 5 years of relevant experience in software development or a related area.
  • Experience leading small projects or teams would be an advantage.
  • Relevant software development certifications (e.g., Microsoft Certified, Oracle Certified) are a plus.
  • Proven experience as a Software Developer, with at least 5 years of professional experience in software development roles.
  • Strong knowledge of programming languages such as Java, C#, Python, or JavaScript.
  • Familiarity with web frameworks (e.g., React, Angular, or Vue.js) and knowledge of RESTful APIs.
  • Experience with database management systems (SQL and NoSQL) and data modeling.
  • Understanding of software development methodologies (Agile, Scrum) and version control systems (e.g., Git).
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to debug complex software issues.
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills to work effectively with diverse teams.
