Job Position: Software Development Executive

Job Location: Lakowe, Lagos

Job Description

  1. Develop Projects: Design, develop and implement and ensure the solution meet international best practices.
  2. Integrate application modules with other modules and external systems
  3. Perform end-end software development from requirements gathering to user acceptance testing and project hand over.
  4. Must continuously demonstrate expertise in applying sound software development concepts, practices, and procedures.
  5. Responsible for Integration testing between Banks, switches and other parties as may be required.
  6. Monitor Epayplus application solutions in line with standard procedure set out by the Solution providers.
  7. Deploy application upgrades and apply application fixes as required in corporation with Epayplus IT System administrators
  8. Employ tight change control procedures when making any modifications to java based applications within the production environment
  9. Reviewing current systems
  10. Working closely with analysts, designers and staff
  11. Producing detailed specifications and writing the program codes
  12. Testing the product in controlled, real situations before going live
  13. Preparation of training manuals for users
  14. Maintaining the systems once they are up and running
  15. Interpret software design specifications and OOD models for application modules and translate them into Java source code
  16. Develop and unit test application modules and web pages
  17. Integrate application modules with other modules and external systems
  18. Research and evaluate software to assist in software development on different platforms
  19. Investigate feasibility, costs, time and compatibility with hardware and other software systems prior to all software development initiative
  20. Any other assignments as may be delegated by the CTO and product Development.

Job Requirements

  • B.Sc / HND in Computer Science or any Engineering course

Experience:

  • 2 to 3 years
