Job Position: Software Engineer (Back End)

Job Location: Lagos

Job Description

  1. Mentor and lead a team of junior developers.
  2. Write clean and efficient codes, providing good reviews and guidance to other codes as well
  3. Integration of userfacing elements developed by frontend developers
  4. Build efficient, testable, and reusable PHP modules
  5. Solve complex performance problems and architectural challenges
  6. Integration of data storage solutions (may include databases, keyvalue stores, blob stores, etc.).

Job Requirements

  1. Hands on experience in PHP Laravel is must. 6+ years of experience with PHP (CORE & Laravel) and familiar with one or more of JavaScript, Golang, APIs and modrewriting.
  2. Experienced candidate who has practically worked on Ecommerce or Financial services websites using the PHP Laravel framework.
  3. Experience with online payments gateways, Affiliate management system, CMS referrals system will be an added advantage. Payment Gateway such as Paypal, flutterwave.
  4. Very good troubleshooting skills.
  5. Building reusable and resalable products
  6. Optimizing MySQL Queries and databases to improve the performance.
  7. Communicating technical concepts to Front end developers, junior Software engineers, Clients, and other audiences of all technical levels in a team environment.
  8. Preference will be given if you hold working knowledge with on one of these MVC frameworks like Codeigniter, Cake PHP, Yii, or Laravel.
