Job Title: Solutions Architect

Job Description

  1. Coordinate internal resources and third parties/vendors for the flawless execution of multiple projects
  2. Ensure that all projects are delivered on time, within scope, and within budget
  3. Define project scope and objectives, involving all relevant internal stakeholders and ensuring technical feasibility
  4. Ensure resource availability and allocation
  5. Develop a detailed project plan to monitor and track progress
  6. Manage changes to the project scope, project schedule, and project costs using appropriate verification techniques
  7. Measure project performance using appropriate project management tools and KPI’s
  8. Report and escalate issues to management as required
  9. Manage the relationship with the client and relevant stakeholders, ensuring customer satisfaction within the project transition period.
  10. Conduct a risk assessment to identify risks, and plan a response to treating the risk
  11. Establish and maintain relationships with third parties/vendors
  12. Create and maintain comprehensive project documentation
  13. Meet with clients to take detailed ordering briefs and clarify specific requirements of each project
  14. Delegate project tasks based on junior staff members’ individual strengths, skill sets, and experience levels
  15. Track project performance, specifically to analyze the successful completion of short and long-term goals
  16. Meet budgetary objectives and make adjustments to project constraints based on financial analysis
  17. Develop comprehensive project plans to be shared with clients as well as other staff members
  18. Conducting post-project evaluation and identifying successful and unsuccessful project elements
  19. Attend conferences and training as required to maintain proficiency
  20. Develop spreadsheets, diagrams and process maps to document needs
  21. Documentation and providing accurate reports to your Manager/CEO

Job Qualifications

  1. Bachelor’s Degree / Higher National Diploma in Engineering, Information Technology, Computer Science, or any related field.
  2. Project Management Professional (PMP) certification
  3. 3 – 5 years of proven experience managing projects in the Security Solutions Space
  4. Experience handling CCTV, Access Controls, and security gadgets installation projects
  5. Experience working with system integrators
  6. A proven ability to complete projects according to outlined scope, budget, and timeline.
  7. Strong familiarity with project management software tools, methodologies, and best practices
  8. Hands-on and tech-savvy
  9. Ability to see projects through the full life cycle
  10. Proficient in Microsoft Windows software, including server, office, and exchange
  11. Working knowledge of MS Office & G Suite
  12. Self-starter and ability to roll up sleeves to get the work done
  13. Solid organizational skills including attention to detail and multi-tasking skills
  14. Excellent diagnostic, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
  15. Excellent client-facing and internal communication skills
  16. Excellent written and verbal communication skills
