Job Position: Store Officer
Job Location: Ikotun, Lagos
Job Responsibilities
- Receive and forward all goods and deliveries in and out of the hotel to the correct point of contact/storage area.
- Able to follow standards for issuing and receiving stock within the store’s area of operation.
- Verify that all supplies and goods received agrees to the requisitions / purchase orders and the delivery note,invoices are checked and filed in the appropriate folder.
- Maintain stock records every month and compiles records of expenditures / consumption etc.
- Track, document, and resolve any discrepancies on received orders
- Ensure accuracy of the facility’s inventory system by updating records of physical inventory totals, receipts, adjustments, and returns
- Responsible for storage of both food & beverage and operational stock.
- Responsible for the day-to-day check on the storage facilities for upkeep and hygiene.
- Ensure cleanliness of all areas, keeping storage areas clean & tidy and in strict compliance with hygiene regulations.
- Keep accurate recordings of all incoming and outgoing stock.
- Notify the store manager/supervisor of any low stock levels and ensure that replacement is done in real time
- Identify and report any slow-moving items to avoid over purchasing.
- Verify and track received inventory and complete inventory reports and logs.
- Maintain clear and organised records to ensure all reports and invoices are filed and stored properly.
- Keep up-to-date records of receipts, records, and withdrawals from the stockroom
- Responsible for packing, pricing, labelling, and returning supplies
- Ensure optimal stock availability in stores for user’s business units
- Find, sort, or move goods between different parts of the business
- Issues stocks to various user business units as instructed and keep records of items shipped, received, or transferred to another location
- Ensure all invoices are timely compiled and data entry done before forwarding the documents to Finance.
- Filing of important documents in main store
- Reconciliation of stock both physically and in the system daily
- Ensures that the store is kept clean and organized.
Job Requirements
- OND
- Internship experience an added advantage
- Must be Tech savy.
