Job Position: Storekeeper (Spare Parts)

Job Location: Sharada, Kano

Job Responsibilities

  1. To store, and issue supplies in a supply operation
  2. Ensure and maintain proper inventory system and all parts issued/received are reflected immediately on to the stock card daily
  3. Applying inventory control methods
  4. Operating material handling equipment; entering and retrieving data using a computerized records system.
  5. Provides information of any excess, lose and damaged item
  6. Manage the spare part store organization and space utilization
  7. Manage supervision of spare parts movements and control of stocks
  8. Providing details when needed about spare parts part numbers based on experience or catalogues
  9. Record properly the GRN / Issuing Slip / Stock.

Job Requirements

  1. Candidates should possess a Bachelor’s Degree / HND / NCE / OND qualification
  2. At least 3 years experience as storekeeper (spare parts).
  3. The candidates should have major experience in spare parts.
  4. Experience and knowledge of GRN, Bin cards, invoices, waybills and other store related documents.
  5. Computer knowledge (microsoft office)
  6. Knowledge of ERP is an added advantage
  7. Must have experience working in a factory (experience in textile industry is an added advantage.)
  8. Must have strong organizational skills
  9. Not less than 35 years.
