Job Position: Storekeeper
Location: Lagos

Responsibilities

1. Receive, check, and store food, beverage, and non-food items as per the restaurant’s inventory needs.
2. Ensure the proper organisation of stock in the storeroom and kitchen, keeping all items easily accessible.
3. Monitor stock levels, reorder products, and assist in maintaining accurate inventory records.
4. Perform regular stock rotation (FIFO method) and check for expired or damaged goods.
5. Assist with the preparation of purchase orders and track deliveries.
6. Work closely with kitchen and management teams to anticipate stock needs and ensure timely replenishment.
7. Maintain cleanliness and orderliness of storage areas, ensuring adherence to safety and health standards.
8. Perform stocktakes and audits as required.
9. Help with the delivery and distribution of supplies to various areas of the restaurant.
10. Assist with waste control and reduction by ensuring proper handling and storage of products.
11. Report any issues, discrepancies, or damaged items to management promptly.

Requirements

1. Proven experience in a similar role, preferably within the restaurant or food service industry.
2. Strong organisational skills and attention to detail.
3. Ability to work well under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
4. Good communication and interpersonal skills.
5. Basic knowledge of inventory management and stock control
6. Ability to lift and carry heavy items.
7. Strong time management and multitasking abilities.
8. Understanding of food safety standards and best practices.
9. Flexibility to work various shifts, including evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed.

Salary Range
N100,000 – N150,000 / Month.
