Job Position: Strategic Sourcing Analyst – SRM Lead
Location: Lagos, Nigeria

Job Responsibilities

  1. Monitor and lead SRM Database Management activities within the Strategic Sourcing team
  2. Quarterly Analysis on Active and Non-Active Vendors
  3. Set up SRM KPI and Weekly Reporting
  4. Maintain the SRM Tool
  5. Participate in the registration process of new vendors, and the management of existing vendors’ information
  6. Maintain an updated AVL – Obtain information from Vendors
  7. Work on ad hoc projects as required to analyse our Suppliers’ panel
  8. Monitor the development of a reference supplier database and its updates
  9. Ensure that the SRM team is the focal point of contact for intending and new suppliers
  10. Coordinate and monitor new and existing vendor presentations, actions/tasks, and evaluations to be performed by the SRM team
  11. Coordinate and monitor Local Content actions/tasks to be performed by the SRM team
  12. Monitor mass communication with suppliers
  13. Implement SAP extractions/BW reports to provide necessary reporting and control tools on Suppliers to be used by the SRM team
  14. Perform, on request, some actions related to other MPM activities: monitoring, reporting, etc.
  15. Ensure tutorship with newcomers
  16. Within the Supplier Performance evaluation process
  17. Ensure Supplier Performance evaluation plan definition, implementation, and follow-up
  18. Monitor the support to buyers/contracts engineers when performing supplier evaluations
  19. Participate in Contractor HSE Audit
  20. Act in the Supplier qualification process on behalf of the Duet (Technical, HSE and Buyer).

Requirements

  1. Engineering, Supply Chain Management, Business Degree or equivalent qualification.
  2. A minimum of 3 years’ experience in Project Management, Consulting, or Supplier Relationship Management (SRM) activities
  3. Experience gained in a large International listed Company will be an advantage.
  4. Advanced user of MS Excel (mandatory), specifically (but not limited to) pivot tables/ summaries, VLOOKUP, concatenation, logical formulas such as SUMIF, etc.
  5. Working knowledge of C&P SC tools, including UNISUP, Compliance Tools, ARIBA & NIPEX, in addition to regular Business & Computing tools
  6. Commitment to diplomacy, respect for deadlines, team spirit and good communication skills
  7. Membership of SC professional bodies will be an added advantage.
