Job Position: Supply Chain Methods Engineer (Performance & Support)

Job Locations: Lagos and Port Harcourt – Rivers

Job  Description

  1. To accurately represent business requirements and the configuration of affiliates’ business processes in the system.
  2. To be responsible for quality delivery of all training and appropriation related to SC Tools.
  3. To act as a liaison between the UNISUP Coordination, the UNISUP MM users, and SC Business Process Owner.
  4. To be the Champion for all SC software solutions within the SC business of the affiliate, including synergies with other business entities.
  5. To validate the District’s position on Contracts & Procurement Supply Chain tools.

Job Responsibilities

  1. The level of activity in the affiliate, the growth of the CPNC Division, and other ongoing challenges require a comprehensive suite of software systems to support Supply Chain activities. These include UNISUP, AGORA, e-sourcing, NIPEX, and Excel (Power BI).
  2. There are approximately 420 Users of the UNISUP Supply Chain module. These users are distributed across several locations and sites, and it is the responsibility of the Tools and Support Engineer to ensure Users attain proper appropriation.
  3. Equally, the Tools and Support Engineer should be able to provide adequate support for UNISUP and other SC tools.
  4. An important aspect of the activity relates to the capacity to train and obtain User’s attention; the Tools and Support Engineer must, therefore, have tuition and diplomatic capabilities.

Job Requirements

  1. Minimum of a Second-Class University Degree in Engineering, Business, or a Supply Chain discipline plus 3 years of experience in the Oil & Gas Industry. Ideally, the last 2 years should have been in a Supply Chain capacity, preferably within the Total Energies or any IOC.
  2. Very good knowledge of C&P SC tools including UNISUP, Planning tools, e-sourcing tools & NIPEX, in addition to other Business & Computing tools.
  3. Demonstrate high capacity for mathematical calculations and analysis.
  4. Demonstrable commitment to excellence, respect for deadlines, team spirit, and good communication skills.
  5. Computer literacy is mandatory and paramount on and off the job.
  6. Have very good notions in training techniques and a good dose of diplomacy.
