Job Position: Analyst, Switching Operations

Job Location: Lagos

Job Description

  1. We’re looking for an Analyst, Switching Operations to join the Global Operations team to ensure that our payment commitments are delivered on-time to our merchants.
  2. The right candidate for this role will play a critical role in enabling the realization of this opportunity and simultaneously ensuring optimal validation of balances and the reasonableness of each of the accounts that Flutterwave uses for its transactions

Job Responsibilities
Include but are not limited to:

  1. Support Payout/Funds transfer processing in a timely manner.
  2. Monitor transactions and ensure all rails are functioning optimally.
  3. Monitors transactions and for signs of fraudulent activity, promptly escalates potential issues to fraud team for investigation and resolution.
  4. Collaborate with cross functional teams to resolve customer related issues.
  5. Handles escalations to the team lead or relevant stakeholders and ensures resolution in line with relevant SLA.
  6. Working with the CX and TAM team in investigating and resolving complaints relating to payout through assigned resolution channels.
  7. Assists with process improvement tasks such as creating processes, tracking progress and updating stakeholders.
  8. Transaction Reconciliation.
  9. Proactively think of strategic methods to improve process.
  10. Any other duties assigned Process Improvement
  11. Work with all sub-teams to identify various touchpoints and design processes to optimize same
  12. Continuous evaluation of current processes vis-à-vis best industry practices.

Job Requirements

  1. Bachelor’s Degree in Finance, Business Administration or a related field
  2. Minimum of 1 year working experience as a Switching Operations Analyst
  3. Understanding of the payment industry.
  4. Open-Mindedness and Result Oriented
  5. Ability to work with Microsoft suite.
  6. Ability to work in a cross-functional team.
  7. Excellent interpersonal, presentation skills and communication skills.
  8. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  9. Ability to identify errors.
  10. Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet set deadlines.
  11. Work goal-oriented based on minimum supervision
  12. High sense of responsibility, accountability, integrity, and ethical standards.
