Job Overview
Our client is seeking a proactive and strategic Talent Acquisition and Talent Management Specialist to support our organisation in sourcing top talent and nurturing employee growth.
This role is responsible for managing the full recruitment life cycle, while also developing and implementing talent development programs that support employee engagement, performance, and retention.
Job Responsibilities
Talent Acquisition:
- Manage end-to-end recruitment processes, including job postings, sourcing, screening, interviewing, and onboarding.
- Partner with hiring managers to understand workforce needs and develop effective hiring strategies.
- Build and maintain a strong talent pipeline through proactive sourcing and networking.
- Develop and promote the employer brand through job fairs, social media, and professional networks.
- Ensure a seamless and positive candidate experience throughout the hiring process.
- Track recruitment metrics to assess effectiveness and improve processes.
Talent Management:
- Support the development and implementation of talent management strategies and programs, including performance management, succession planning, and career development.
- Assist with the design and delivery of training and development initiatives to support employee growth.
- Monitor employee engagement and collaborate with HR to enhance retention strategies.
- Identify high-potential employees and facilitate programs that support their career pathing and development.
- Maintain accurate and updated records on employee development plans and training history.
- Support the annual performance appraisal cycle and provide training to managers and employees on performance management tools.
Qualifications & Experience
- B.Sc. / HND in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field.
- 4–6 years’ experience in recruitment and talent management.
- HR Certifications will be of added advantage.
Skills:
- Excellent interviewing, assessment, and talent mapping skills.
- Ability to develop and implement talent management strategies to attract, retain and develop top talent.
- Ability to analyse recruitment metrics, identify trends, and provide insights to improve the talent acquisition and management process.
- Strong strategic thinking to align talent acquisition and management initiatives with business objectives.
- Effective communication with hiring managers, candidates, and stakeholders to ensure recruitment and talent management goals are met.
- Ability to align talent strategies with business needs.
- Strong interpersonal skills.
- Ability to resolve recruitment and talent management issues, identify solutions, and implement process improvements
- Ability to coach hiring managers, the recruitment team, and develop acquired talent.
- Ability to adapt to changing business needs, talent market trends, and recruitment best practices
Salary
N300,000 – N330,000 per month
