Job Position: Talent Acquisition Specialist

Job Location: Ilupeju, Lagos

Job Description
Playing a critical role in finding the best and brightest talent in the industry, the successful candidate will be entrusted with the following tasks:

  1. Cultivate positive relationships with leaders and cross-functional partners across the organization to build teams
  2. Consult with stakeholders to implement strategic plans for acquiring the best and brightest talent to deliver on organizational goals
  3. Facilitate inclusive and objective hiring process to ensure candidates are assessed against organizational competencies to thrive
  4. Deliver an exceptional candidate experience with each interaction throughout the recruitment process
  5. Represent the company internally and externally at events with the goal of networking and relationship building
  6. Foster long-term relationships with current talent, past and potential candidates
  7. Work collaboratively with the team to ensure all implemented talent tools and technologies are being utilized to their fullest potential.
  8. Implement innovative sourcing techniques to engage with the best talent
  9. Sourcing potential candidates through online channels such as LinkedIn, Github and smartrecruiters  to acquire the best and brightest talent to deliver on organizational goals.
  10. Design job descriptions and interview questions that reflect each position’s requirements
  11. Manage respective candidate pools to ensure qualified candidates remain engaged in current or future opportunities
  12. Suggest new ideas for improving talent acquisition activities.

Job Requirements

  • Bachelor’s Degree required
  • 3+ years of recruitment experience
  • Experience in full-cycle recruitment in a fast-paced environment
  • Ability to deliver on talent marketing through consistent social media engagement
  • Strong oral and written communication skills
  • Experience guiding the talent process and communicating with senior level leaders
  • High level of employee engagement to create trusting relationships
  • Self-motivated with a learner mentality to deliver excellence
  • Familiarity with social media, resume databases and professional networks
