Job Position: Talent Acquisition Specialist

Job Overview

We are seeking a dynamic and results-driven Talent Acquisition Specialist to join our HR team. This role is responsible for developing and executing effective talent acquisition strategies to attract, assess, and hire top-tier talent for our resort operations, guest services, culinary departments, administrative roles, and executive leadership.

Job Responsibilities

  1. Partner with department heads to understand workforce needs and develop strategic hiring plans.
  2. Manage the end-to-end recruitment process, from job posting and sourcing to interviewing, selection, and onboarding.
  3. Build a pipeline of qualified hospitality professionals through proactive sourcing, networking, and talent mapping.
  4. Utilise job boards, social media, professional networks, and recruitment events to identify top candidates.
  5. Develop and maintain a compelling employer brand that reflects Glocient’s values and culture.
  6. Ensure a positive candidate experience through timely communication and feedback.
  7. Maintain accurate and up-to-date applicant tracking and recruitment records.
  8. Monitor recruitment metrics and provide regular reports to senior HR leadership.
  9. Support diversity, equity, and inclusion initiatives in recruitment and hiring practices.

 Qualifications

  1. Bachelor’s Degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Hospitality Management, or a related field.
  2. 3+ years of experience in talent acquisition, preferably in the hospitality or service industry.
  3. Strong understanding of recruitment best practices and labour laws in Nigeria.
  4. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  5. Ability to manage multiple roles and priorities in a fast-paced environment.
  6. Proficiency in using applicant tracking systems (ATS), HRIS platforms, and sourcing tools.
  7. Passion for hospitality and building high-performing teams.
