Job Position: Technical Manager

Job Location: Port Harcourt, Rivers

Job Description

  1. Conduct Company Quality/Health and Safety (OH&S/ISM) and Environmental Audits.
  2. Oversee vessels repair and maintenance
  3. Introduce, adjust, and distribute procedures and work instructions that relate to technical matters.
  4. Ensure that updated and detailed specifications of managed vessels are available in the office.
  5. Organize, coordinate and delegate technical and operations tasks of the technical department
  6. Ensure compliance with all classes, flag state or any other standards and requirements
  7. Act as an Intermediate between crew on board and management ashore.
  8. Manage Technical crew, and make periodic reports on their performance.

Job Requirements

  1. OND in Mechanical or Marine Engineering
  2. Previous experience as an Onboard Engineer
  3. Certificate of competency (OOW)
  4. STCW certificates
  5. Relevant HSE certifications
  6. Good knowledge of computer
  7. Ready to resume immediately.

Salary
N500,000 – N700,000 / month.
